– email@example.com First contact
If you are interested in having counselling with me, please email me, with your telephone number and times when you would be available to talk. I will reply with the offer of a time when I would ring you.
This first telephone contact should not be rushed. I will need to assess whether I am likely to be able to help you. You will also be thinking about whether I can understand your difficulties. By the end of the call we might agree to move to the next stage of arranging a meeting. Either or both of us may need more time to think about it in which case we would agree to make contact later.
You will not be charged for this phone call whatever the outcome.
The agreement to meet does not constitute a commitment to future work. The first meeting or meetings may continue to be exploratory, with agreement to work together coming later. If and when we do arrange a first meeting I will ask for the following:Full name and address
Information about any medication
Session conditions and costs
Sessions last 50 minutes. Each client has a regular time. I work weekdays at a variety of times between 8am and 9.50pm, with more availability during the day.
My fee is reasonable and competitive. It increases occasionally, in line with inflation. An invoice is presented at the end of the calendar month for sessions taken.
Once the work is underway, any absences, for whatever reason, must be paid for, with the exception of arrangements made before the counselling began.
I give 2 months' notice of my breaks, which are generally 2 weeks each at Christmas and Easter and 4 weeks in August. There is no charge during my breaks.
East Finchley tube (Northern Line). Buses 143, 263. Free street parking.
